碳葉片是一種安裝於轉子槽內的扁平長條狀零件，隨著轉子的旋轉，在偏心的氣缸內壁滑動。藉由離心力或彈簧推力貼合內壁，形成氣室，使氣體或蒸氣壓縮或輸送。它在工作時持續與缸壁接觸，因此對材料的耐磨性、自潤滑性與耐高溫性要求非常高。
Carbon vanes are flat, elongated components installed in rotor slots. As the rotor rotates, they slide along the inner wall of an eccentric cylinder. By means of centrifugal force or spring pressure, the vanes stay in contact with the cylinder wall, forming chambers that compress or transport gas or vapor. Since they are in constant contact with the cylinder wall during operation, high demands are placed on the material’s wear resistance, self-lubricating properties, and high-temperature resistance.
